Who Ever Imagined

face masks would become a new norm?

Designer Catherine Conlin has a long history of innovation beginning with her successful San Francisco floral design business to her interior, garden and fabric designs. She spent much of the spring cranking out masks for anyone who needed them, emulating the N95 mask as closely as possible. The more we learned about the function of masks as a simple protection against droplets, she decided to streamline and create playful designs that were much more comfortable than the layered twill, cotton and flannel "maxi-pads", as she now calls them, her first hundred masks were constructed like.

The-Maskini is a solution to a current problem, but hopefully, only a gateway into accessories, bedding and clothing design in the future. Based out of Bloomington, Indiana, her masks are custom made and styles ever changing. We hope you'll stay well and keep others safe by pairing your masks with your wardrobe.
